Waterfall

Oh you never know where
A walk in the woods will take you
Following beds of clover
Growing in Fairy green
Wading deep in a pool
You take your bath alone
I watch from behind a tree
That keeps me hidden low

Ooh watching the water fall
Where you
Are watching
The water fall
Will you take me there
Won’t you take me there

You step from the water and
Stumble towards the clearing
But stop to close your eyes
And catch a few winks
As you lay on the ground
Atop a bed of leaves
I watch as you sleep alone
And wonder if you dream

Ooh watching the water fall
Where you
Are watching
The water fall
Oh take me there
Won’t you take me there

High up on a redwood branch
The nest of an eaglet and mother
Teaching her young when to leave
And when to come back
She flies from her home in the trees
With a wingspan that reaches for heaven
And cries as you walk away
I wonder will you come back

Ooh watching the water fall
Where you
Are watching
The water fall
Oh take me there
Won’t you take me there
